BRANCHING IDENTITIES

Interactive Website

Branching Identities is an interactive website that serves as a reflection of my self-identity, embracing the branching paths that shape the basis of my identity. The essence of my identity is influenced by the many individuals I’ve encountered. The tree metaphor provides both a visual and conceptual foundation for this project. This project utilizes a custom HTML and CSS website build running on a single scroll. Hover interactions make up the primary user experience.

Hand-lettered typography reflects the metaphorical nature of the website name.
It speaks to the personal reflection of my own
self-identity.

Featured in a collective exhibition, .getelementbyID();, at KCAI. This website is a part of a large collection of sites dedicated to answering
what is identity.

Alongside the website was
a projection-mapped installation created by Hailianne Schawo and
aided by me.
